AREA COUNSELORS

  • Sr. Diane M. Gianadda, a long-time friend of St. Lawrence, is a licensed clinical social worker who specializes in individual, couple, and family therapy. Her office, located in the St. Lawrence Franciscan Guest House, can be reached at 893-0931.
  • Sr. Michele Jackson, a Pastoral Counselor, grew up in Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish. Pastoral Counseling combines the psychological tools of counseling with faith, so that clients can grapple with life’s anxieties and issues in a holistic way. Sr. Michele’s office, in the St. Aloysius School building, can be reached at 874-8787. She has a sliding fee scale.

SACRAMENTS

  • Reconciliation - Saturday from 3:45 – 4:15 p.m.
  • Marriage - arrangements should be made in person at least six months prior to the wedding date
  • Baptism - parents are expected to attend one instruction class, preferably before the birth of their baby. Phone the rectory as soon as possible.
  • Anointing of the Sick is given communally the first weekend of every month after all Masses. It is also available to those who are seriously ill, aged, confined to their homes, or those preparing for surgery. Call the rectory to make arrangements.

CARE OF THE SICK

Parish ministers visit hospitals weekly. Please let rectory know of hospital stays. If you are homebound and wish to receive Holy Communion, contact the rectory or Outreach office. If a parishioner enters a nursing home, please contact us so we can visit him/her.

Novena follows the 8:30 a.m. Mass on Mondays.
